i remember ashley systems from back in my ford/max power days & never had any problems with them.
the qaulity was pretty good & fingers crossed it's still the same.

I'd be a little happier if they showed pics of what you're actually buying. I take it that's £250 odd for a twin box system from the downpipe back and almost £90 for the downpipe, which I guess fits to the standard manifold?

I had one on a my nova back in the day, ive got a heavy noisy scorpion atm and its twin pipes (like most e30 exhausts) its soooo heavy so have been after a single pipe system in mild steel rather than stainless. Seems a spot on system thats produced for "motorsport purposes" + they sound awesome popping and banging

Its full 6 mani and downpipe, and its a single pipe to the back box and a single tailpipe

I believe they have been developed for one of the BMW race series that run the 320i, so might they be a little restrictive for a 325i??Nato_e30 wrote:Seems a spot on system thats produced for "motorsport purposes"
The ad states at the top " BMW 320 E30 6 Cylinder Down Pipe (ABMS10)", no mention of a manifold and if it is for the race series that runs the 320i, I don't think they are allowed 6 branch manifolds, it has to be the original cast log type manifold.

It will defo fit a 325i, I was just wondering if the bore of the pipe will be a little small for a 2.5 or have they made it larger than the 2.0 needs.
I'd be more interested in asking about the manifold/downpipe.

Ive ordered the system its 3 inch back and is made to get the most from a 325 theyre supposidly the same as the 320 as the after market system is a larger bore than a standerd 325 system. The manifold is custom made to order, the downpipe advertised is d pipe only not with the mani
so im going to look for a 6 branch, ive seen this one has anyone used one? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0494069607 ive had this brand on my honda for 4 years and it never failed

that manifold looks like a copy of an alpina 6 branch.
fit's both RHD & LHD???
if your budget will stretch to it then why not a btb 3? but be warned they are £900 incl vat
though they do have proven power gains (ask bss325i)

I have the Ashley system on my 325 rally car. It needed a little bit of sorting to fit how we wanted it, as ground clearance is a major problem for a forest rally car. Sound is good and not too loud so passes sound checks with no problem. It is a fairly large bore so flows fine for a 325i.
