Hi,

Had my 2.7 built, got her in, got it running, buggered off to Australia and left it in a bodyshop for the past 6 months having the body done.

Question is, should I get the oil dropped now, its done about 30 odd miles, would it do any harm?

Might has well get a full service.

As long as the bodyshop have not been starting it and running it for short periods it should be fine. If it has been inactive that length of time, it may be worth disconnecting the coil lead and cranking the engine till the oil light extinguishes , then reconnecting the lead and starting it.

It is good practise on an engine that has had major work , to change the oil much sooner than usual as it is bound to have 'flushed' out some debris/solvents etc .
