£40 sounds about right, there too big to post which limits what you can make for them second hand.
If you could find a buyer in AUS and were prepared to wrap it up so it's impossible to to get damaged you can get £100+ or if you're an eBay seller speciallizing in **MINT**RARE** parts or even luckier someone fairly local is absolutely desperate for one.
I've never got more than £50 for a mint dash and they are a pain to store if you haven't got a lot of space so good ridence!

Not as mad as me who sold an uncracked dash posted for 55 including all switches, speedo, speedo surrounds clock heater matrix then refunded a zoner 100% on his word claiming it was damaged even postage without seeing proof of damage. The zoner hasnt been on since. What the fuck was I thinking. Call me whatever you want, but never call me unfair in business.

'Mint' dashes are a very rare thing. Most so called minters, if examined carefully in the recess on the passenger side have tiny cracks . A 'minter' should be £100, but most buyers are not too clever or fussy and most sellers are sick of trying to store the dashes and keep them 'mint' so they invariably get sold too cheap.
I sold a mint (I mean mint) dash to the nice Australian man earlier this year along with a 370mm tech 2 wheel and a VGC light check IS interior.
My palm was crossed, and crossed well.
Pity these buyers appear to be few and far between
To answer your question OP, no I think £40 is fair if collected.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I've had to message most my buyers lately to get them to leave feedback, noticing less and less people bother nowadaysmagpie wrote: they don't leave feedback the coonts ,it's the second time i've sold to them

I feel reassured now - sorry to hear about the problems that others have had!
I know the dash went to a good home and Blondboy84 is a top bloke so I am happy - just had a brief moment of doubt that's all!!!

You're right - I shouldn't really worry about a couple of quid when I paid nowt for the Beetle should I?
Cheers again..

That was my thought toozaust wrote:Never let one go for more than £20
Now who's mental. £40 is top dollar as far as I'm concerned. There's more dashes around than there are e30s.
Anyone want a nice uncracked one for £100 PM

I need one!
I'm not paying a ton!

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite
Alpina plaque (which i have no use for) should be attached to the centre consul in front of the ash tray. Not on the dash.
One mans "SUPER MINT RARE" is another mans scrap.
