heaters are doing nothing @ all checked fuse, have tried 2 other controller switches that work fine on my convertible still nothing. After looking on youtube i went to change resistor that was shown as a plug in just under the fan but neither of my 318is have anything there??? Am just about to change the whole fan unit & was wondering if i hav a resistor elsewhere somewhere or if it is incorperated into the fan before i put it all back together???

If my memory serves me correct there is a resistor plug down under on the passenger side foot well. I changed a friends a while back after doing so it worked fine.

Resistor pack isn't used on the fan's full speed setting, so if it didn't work on full it wasn't relevant.
Do the door mirrors work?
