Just fitted a half leather (i think its called hound,s tooth?) recaro interior.
I,m well impressed,great quality seats came out of a Tech 1 sport.
Got them of Ebay,bargain of the century! Ԛ£156.

very similar to the ones i used to have,but not identical and i thought mine were Tech1 seats.
The back support on yours is different and also looking at the base,the levers and wheel to adjust the knee support are different .
Deffo BMW seats though,i can see that,just dont look like E30 seats to me though?

BTW Eko, these are proper Recaros, very rare; BMW Sports seats are not actual Recaros.

Kid - Shame! those seats would have looked nice in your Alpina,lucky for me,my bidding technique worked!?
Yeh,they are real Recaro's,even have recaro stickers on the underside of the seats.
The chap i bought them off, works for Northern Healey Centre in Castleford.He showed me round their Workshop,
which was filled with Austin Healey's in various states of repair.He was telling me that the average Healey takes 1500 Hours
+ Parts to renovate.
Bloody Hell,that must be expensive.I think i'll stick with 'cheap' E30's.
He was sad he had to break his Tech1,but he thought it would be a lot cheaper to break and buy another one,than renovate.
And judging by the workmanship he was right. I'd love someone to spend 1500 Hours on my motor.
