Having seen some of their handiwork, hopefully they have closed down !

Are you buying or selling ? I have a 535 sport that is getting prepped for the bridge, and I have a few bits. :)

I believe there was a flood , of the very wet type, and undoubtably , of irate victims , so they closed the doors.

Simon not an office manager(that was short and sweet), but i know where you found that from. As for tom its the past, but i bare grudges for a very very long time.

Im sorted now. Got the parts from a scrap yard(one of only a few in and around bristol), plucked from a touring which is the only e34 they have. 4 years back they used to have loads of the things and 3 to 4 e30's. Are there many scrapyards down london way now?

Alas, scrapyard numbers are dwindling here fast and in an effort to recover the huge investment needed to run one legally nowadays , the prices are not too appetising :(

That and the fact that the supply of cars that us sick coonts are interested in has dwindled to barely a trickle , has made the regular trips to the breakers a thing of the past :(

Things are so lean, I even bought a couple of four pot four doors this year to frag !

On a more positive note, the lack of turds and morsels readily available in yards has meant people are having to get used to paying more for nice parts :D

Yards like Grunters* in West London are now a joke. Staffed and frequented by monosyllibic Eastern Europeans and assorted nefarious characters in black leather jackets not from these isles, their prices are a pisstake - socks and tight fitting grundies need to be stocked before leaving.
Still, a 3.15 ratio E36 LSD for £80 was turned into £300 within a week, even after dropping it, fracturing the alloy rear cover and having to rob another one from a 328i.

*Hunters, now called something else.
