Hola, I've just fitted pas to my e30 and the pump is noisey, is it likely the pump is tired or needs a good bleed etc. Cheers

I've been running an e36 rack without pas since I've owned the car ( almost a year) and on slick Tyres the steering gets really heavy so been as my brother gave me his pas piles thought I'd stick them on. Pump it noisy even when not steering the wheel on tickover. Ran out of time to check it this morning. Plenty of new fluid in the res though. Will give it a good bleed and try it on weekend. I have a spare pump which I don't know if works in my spares package
