Which is usually pretty dangerous.
I want an E30 couch....
Im hoping to get a sorta industrial/minimal style flat and I think it would look epic. Id have the shell cut in half like so, leather M3 bench, with the leather door cars, sit the back on lowered springs and deep dish wheels, the front bit could sit on feet so its level.
Anyone else think that would look pretty funky? Dont know what Id do with the boot, maybe put a sound system in it? Storage?

Only snag is, how would you get it into the flat? Most have fairly narrow hallways and doors...

Shit thats a point. Maybe if we do up the school part of our house here at home, or if i got a place with french doors.
A couple did it on grands designs with a mini but then i remembered they had to get a crane to post it through a 3rd floor window.
Could cut it into small sections and reweld but to make it look seemless would require a very skilled welder

And then repaint it in two-pack paint inside the flat?
Car-based furniture is the sort of kitch idea that works in galleries and faux-American burger joints, not the poky confines of a British lounge.

Oh yes, love those fumes ! gas out the whole block
" that works in galleries "
Exactly - Im into all that minimalistic contemporary shit, I want my house to look like an art gallery. Fuck brittish lounges, I want glass and stainless steel everywhere.

Verde since you just got a job and going on the amount you need for a deposit on a flat these days I'd say that will have rusted away to nothing before you can afford a place to put it

when i cut an e30 up, i was going to chop the boot off, use as a coffee table, that opened up , with the bumper being on the floor !
sofa like that would be a good idea if you had the space tho, but moving it about/getting it in would be aggro
plus youd need to spend a fair wack on it to get it looking decent

When I scrapped any of my E30's I got a bloke with a Hiab to just lift it off the drive. Then I went down the pub with my sheckles earnt and a jolly good knees up

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Seems like that just isn't cool anymore Fergus!
Wonder when someone will try turning a cab into somekind of hot tub, a nice M30 would make a good heater/bubble blower thing.

If i drink il die.
Test is rebooked diable, if i get the same woman again im properly fucked. Half of my friends have licenses and shouldnt and i keep getting knocked back cos this whore is too timid to be doing her job.
That idea for the table sounds cool polsta but would be a lot of work. and your right about moving the e30 couch around, it would be a pure nightmare, plus spending £££ to get it looking good.

I live in Aberdeenshire, there arnt any women here. They look like trucks. Il hold off til I can drive and go back down to edinburgh and obliterate the stocks of drunken daddies girls and then flee back to the hills.

Verd, why don't you do the sort of thing the top gear lot have done and fabricate a sofa using the rear bench and a couple of armchairs with two front sport seats?
Pete and I would love to see pic, if you manage to get a bird over. Pete ca supply the chloroform if you ask nicely!

That'll never work - your average E30 will have so many holes that the water will drain out in 30 seconds
On the plus side, you might not have a boot well with water in it on the passenger side underneath the aerial.

I've got a set of very fine 17" reps that are going to hit the sale section, but if you're struggling to pay £200 squid, then I don't think these will be for you. All four with caps, pina badges and tyres that have covered less than 500 miles.
PM if interested!
