Hi
I need some help in valuation of my e30 which i want to sell. The car was a present from my uncle who was moving abroad & didnt get time to sell it. I have no use for the car as i have a company car & do not know what the car is worth as i am not into cars as such.
My uncle emailed me about details of the car so here goes:
1990 325i motorsport convertible
Maccau blue with original bubble leather
Original bmw hardtop
110k miles with lots of history
Azev alloys
Automatic gearbox
Car is rust free and in very good condition for its age
New shocks, springs & brake pads
Would love to here any feedback from and possibly offers??
Thanls

You're going to be asked to prove this is kosher mate.
Best thing you could do is have it valued by someone who knows what they're talking about. I will tell you that it's worth enough that spending a few hundred on a proper valuation won't make much of a dent on what you'll get..

That's the most important factor, and I refuse to believe it on any E30 that hasn't undergone a restoration at some point.E30Nelly wrote: Car is rust free and in very good condition for its age

I have just emailed my uncle & he told me the car had an overcoat a few years ago and thats it. Was MOT'd recently & the tester told me the car underneath was in good condition and had minor rust on the fuel line which he treated & a small part underneath the rear bumper but was not major. Im just looking for a rough guide price on what to advertise it for. My uncle has said its a rare car & that in the paperwork he gave me is proof that its a genuine motorsport edition, he said these cars can range from £4k-£6k+....

My advice is to whack it in the Birmingham autotrader and wait for the phone calls!

All rust is major until you remove and prove it isnt...E30Nelly wrote:minor rust on the fuel line which he treated & a small part underneath the rear bumper but was not major.
If he already has this price in mind then thats what you should aim for...E30Nelly wrote:he said these cars can range from £4k-£6k+....
As Dan said though, Ebay, 99p... It will find its value quickly enough.
The best thing would be to do is search for similiar cars and see what they are priced at...

Sell the hard top seperately. You'll got £500+ for that alone. Car looks nice and is not badly priced. GLWS!

Your picture is a bit small!
A thread in the For Sale section on here might be worth doing too..

Those alloys really don't do it any favours what so ever you need some original BMW BBS 15 inch cross spokes ....
Am I right in thinking this is lowered
