I assume you've spoken to the seller and he's confirmed no service history? He says there are MOTs which is something. But he also cites a load of recent parts, which if they were done in his ownership, he should have receipts for. For what it's worth, the jobs he says he's done look like the kind of things a responsible owner who buys a car without service history would have done, particularly the timing belt replacement.

The car looks clean enough generally, and has been spruced up nicely for the pictures. I'd definitely view it at least if I was in the market for one of these. Read the wiki on here thoroughly before you go to look at it so you know what you're after. Price-wise, it's about right for a top condition 325i.

If you're not confident assessing the condition yourself, have a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done by somebody reputable. I think Barry (bss325i) on here isn't too far from where the car's advertised, and he'll be able to give you a very accurate assessment of its true condition.

Lack of history, it has every MOT back to 30k Miles?

If I were looking for a Tech II Sport, this is one I'd go see, but it's a Cabby I'm after.

Ask the owner did he have the tyres fitted and if so what brand ? Michelin/Dunlop/Continental etc = go and have a look. Darkhorse/Eagle//Stunner/Linglong/Longtime = don't bother :)

Is the current seller the second owner if its only had 2 from new or is it a dealer selling it ?

Looks like a straight one but WTF is going on with the front headrests ? :?

About right money wise if there are no rot issues

If I was about to invest the thick end of £5k in a Tech 2 in this location I'd definately be paying Mr Pacer or Bazza a few beer tokens to cast their eye over it.

Thanks all the guy selling is the 3rd owner and has had the car 8 months just for summer.
And according to him the cars only issue is the sunroof is not retracting so assuming cable.
i have no idea how the previous owner who clearly was an enthusiast manages to keep all the previous mots right back to 30k but manages to lose service book and history.

The seller doesn't seem to know too much about his car.. which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Could be innocence but definitely worth bearing in mind when going to view it.

Full black leather recaro interior with leather door cards. ... They're sports seats.
Factory uprated sport suspension. .... All sports have uprated springs and shocks.
Factory M sport bodykit. ... To specify.. its a tech II

He also missed the steering wheels of a tech I design.

As already mentioned... the cambelt, brake pads, brake disks, power steering belt are all things that more or less should be changed relatively regularly anyway.

As I've said the comments I've highlighted may be innocent and a bit finicky, but its worth taking into account when viewing an E30 with that sort of price tag.

Worth getting/paying someone thats in the know to go down and have a look with you.

The main thing being rust.. that bodykit is great at concealing rot..

As with any 'sport', I'd want to check the VIN with a BMW dealer, to ensure it isn't just a look-a-like. Whatever is written on the V5C is not a reliable indicator.

you probably wont find one !

IF that car is solid, as above- paying bazza or pete who are not far from there, which is a god send, to have a look and advise on how to do the deal and what to pay etc, then they are only small things youl have to put right, a 2 owners 90k IF that is fully backed up by the history, is a rare to find car, hence its 4.7k price tag, if your in the market for one then its well worth a look
