If anyone has watched the jaguar xkr episode of wheeler dealers, then you will have seen the Terraclean system and how it works. My question is are there any problems? I mean for around £100 to unleash a bit more bhp an maybe mpg seems a bargain to me but could it bring any problems later on? My thought was if all the carbon deposits in the engine have made everything settle in its place, would taking away that carbon effect anything?

If you're running some old neglected Ford or Vauxhall scrap, then it may well have some effect, but for us on here who are running (hopefully) well maintained BMW engines, then it will be a total waste of time and money.

all its doing is putitng some decent fuel through the system, you would be better off sending your injectors off to be recon'd and running some fuel system cleaner through your tank, at my garage i used to swear by the wurth stuff, a little pricy at £7 a tin but not compared to what your talking about

plus we tried it on an old mk3 golf 8v gti, we had bought it to sell on, failed mot on emmisions and a few other things, ran some engine flush and fuel treatment through it and it smoked it bollox off after, sometimes carbon buildup can be a good thing in certain areas. specificly on older cars and engines
