Due to me ripping out most of my engine wiring loom for my Emerald ECU i might have got rid of a trigger wire for one or both of the unloader relays.
Has any one got a wiring diagram for these relays please ?
Is there a relay some where inline for the starter trigger wire from the ignition switch to the starter ?
Unloader relays and starter trigger wire ?

Both unloader relays have ignition switched supplies going to one end of their coils (86), (12V+ 0nly when ignition switch is on).
The other end of the coils (85) are connected together, and go via a black/green wire, via pin 15 of the C101, to the smallest terminal on the starter motor. This terminal is effectively earth for the relay coils, as it connects to earth through the starter motor winding. When the motor is engaged, 12V+ is applied to this pin (and the starter winding), so the relay drops out.
Whole thing can be bypassed by connecting the green/black wire permanentl;y to earth (inside fusebox is best).
BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE OTHER END FROM THE STARTER MOTOR.
Starter signal goes from the ignition switch, through a connector clipped to the column, through a single pole plug and socket above the glovebox ( auto starter inhibit connects in here), through pin 18 of the C101 to the starter motor solenoid.
Wire is black/yellow, and there are no relays involved (on a manual).

Top man Brian !
I think i only have two wires connected to the starter, the big main feed wire and the trigger wire from the ignition switch, i will check this out over the week end.
I guess i got too trigger happy with the snips and chopped the grn/blk wire out
Which componants(lights, interior fan, heated screen ?) do the unloader relays cut out ?
Thanks
Andy
