A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better

The small matter of coin fcor front and coin for rear is no problem to me pete, I have car in garage as of next month and money no object to create one of the best 4 doors in history!!!
Havin said that, if there is work needed to make fit then thanks for that answer, its something I will have to speak to my bodywork/sprayshop guy about

You will also need the M3 specific bumper irons and side mounts . The main issue is that the M3 bumper follows the shape of the M3 flared arch , both back and front so it will need major reworking to fit them so that they look factory.
I look forward to seeing the finished product. With all of them morsels , Byron and I will be fighting for the
fragging rights !

innit, they will take some serious bodging to fit a facelift more door, the arch liners/undertrays will be very tricky to get right once the bumpers have been re-workedDezzy wrote:Aren't all M3's chromies at heart?
the rear valance is lower also the rear pockets, that would take some severe angle grinder action to get them to fit
The front would be a piece of p!ss compared to the rear.
Did the m3 not come in facelift form? G or H plate.... I first thought of fitting a tech 1 kit, was told the same thing about the rear valance for the rear bumper to fit. The valance on my car is not the best if I'm really honest.! 2 winters has taken its toll and bmw decided to make the rear valance out of metal as thin as a coke can. So I was of the mindset to cut it away so far anyway lol
I get what you're saying though guys about the m3 having flared arches, makes perfect sense. Just milling over 2 of my favourite 2 options for this. Tech 2 is out of the question for me!

no. all m3s had the early style rear panel, and had a different rear 3/4 to bumper arrangement to other e30s
it's not just the rear panel thats different pre / post facelift, the bottom of the rear quarters, and the arch shape as well as how the bumper meets the arch are all different.

innit, same applies to fitting a tech 2 kit to a preface turd, it always ends in tears and never looks rightharry_p wrote:no. all m3s had the early style rear panel, and had a different rear 3/4 to bumper arrangement to other e30s

Couple of hours tops. Get the M3 bits the same colour as your car and you won't even need to paint them . Sorted

if your going to have a full re spray and make one of the best quatto portes in history, get a whole new genuine bmw panel put in, its nice to get done and know !e30-dk wrote: The valance on my car is not the best if I'm really honest.! 2 winters has taken its toll and bmw decided to make the rear valance out of metal as thin as a coke can.
im swinging more toward tech 1 kit... i know i know... my car is a facelift model but i do prefer the tech 1 kit over the tech 2. decision has been made i think

I prefer prefaclift too but I think each model should be kept true. If money is no.object buy a prefacelift
