I've said all along if i ever received an edequate explanation from Gunni i would not have gone down this route. He just doesnt care and thats the bottom line.
Theres never been an explanation for why the manifold was welded the way it is, there has never been any form of compensation or an apology.

This is quite common for him. Call him out on something and its someone else's fault or he'll just ignore you.

Guys has anyone on here ever had work done by gunni to the standard that we have seen on these threads ? I'm not stiring jack just asking as might have used him in future on a turbo build now that route is hanging in the balance as I have been bitten before to the tune of 5k by a clown from Nottingham ruined my m3 vert and built a shoddy e30 so I'm genuinely asking , and gunni if you are reading this post something so we can all rest with an explanation as we are potential customers and all zoners .i'm no angel but fair is fair . Rant over

Afraid to say I know the lad.
And I know what his works like. But that's all I'm going to say.
Never saw the conversion but Peter tells me it was shocking.

5 bags? I seem to remember you were quoted less than that to have the engine inspected and a proper S50 conversion performed!

That manifold reminds me of the plumbing the the Goonies!! In the tuning/modding business you will always get a few fuck ups from time to time, but it is how these problems are sorted that shows the men from the cowboys!

Gunni seems to offer help quite freely to everybody on here. He comes across as a switched on guy and I'm surprised to see him passing on that quality of work to a paying customer.

Maybe he had a bad day and we don't have both sides ? I don't know coz I counted on him for my turbo build now my dream is in tatters after seeing that monstrosity ! A man can only take one of those in a life time and I have taken mine in Nottingham lol , I want to erase Mansfield from my atlas and sat nav ! Brings back horror moments !

I'd be happy to hear any explanation as well. I guess he's keeping his mouth shut as he has pending court action against him from Andeep. However that shouldnt affect this manifold. I could easily take this to a small claims court as well if i wanted to.

My advice would be to never 'tune' or 'modify' your car in that way. If you want a fast car then buy one in the first place. I put a thread up about remaps which confirms my sentiment.
As for that manifold i think stevie wonders dog could have done a better job.

Was able to road test the 328i.
0.5bar @3000rpm
1bar@3500rpm
1.3bar@4000rpm
using 66% throttle in 3rd gear, after 4000rpm I just had wheelspin action. Hoping for dyno early next month.

Yes, very easily. 600hp is where the rods start to melt. An m50 will happily take 500hp with nothing more than a thicker MLS headgasket and ARP head bolts.
Real shame to see this, but that manifold is shockingly bad.

I quite like the way that this was posted, but all the "bad posts" have been completely ignored.
