Hey,

Yesterday I went for a drive, car felt good as always.
After that I checked under and spotted a little oily (clear liquid) patch is on the passenger side, I tried to smell but i dont recognise the smell (doesnt smell of anything really).

Took a photo of the leak, maybe someone had similar issue before?

My break pads light is on all the time since i got the car (if that makes any difference?).

cheers,

the only fulid i can think of that fits that description is brake fulid.

Have a look around the master cylinder area.

So it looks like the leak - whatever it is is happening only when its really chilly / wet outside.
The engine looks pretty dirty and oily too.

I took it to a garage and they say they cant see any leaks...

I drove it on sunday, there was no leak after I parked it during the day, later in the evening temperature dropped and few drops under the car appeared.

Getting really confused with it.

its a m20, the leak visible on the floor seems to be on the passenger side behind the steering rack (pic is pretty bad - sorry).

the engine itself is oily in both lower sides, and near the top of the camshaft drive, but as i said - mechanic had it last saturday and saw nothing (or just a $h!+ mechanic).

Try tightening the brake unions that go into the master cylinder, and look all around that area for leaks.
