Anyone know much about these, this seems very cheap and having spoken to the seller I reckon I can bag it for a grand.
Would it break for more?
Looks to have decent panels, interior and wheels.

i had one and its the rotor tips that wear and cause low compression. hence there are a few low priced ones about, as he says its slow to start when warm, id bet it would not start at all when hot, untill it cools. total pain in the ass. stay clear. no one is interested in panels , interior, wheels etc, its new engines every one needs!

For a grand its got to be worth a punt. I'd run it for fun then if it dies frag it. Cheap motoring. Common colour as well so if it's as clean as it looks people will want panels. Wings are selling at 60 quid a pop
.
Admittedly not much action on the used parts selling but a f***ing headlight levelling sensor went for £150!!! These are getting to the age now where Starter motors (75 quid sold?), alternators etc. will start popping.
Someones paid 200 quid for an engine "running badly when removed"
And if the cars are as cheap due to unreliability, who will pay new prices? They are gonna want cheap parts!!

I reckon it's worth a go you know? Break from the old routine and all that?

I was only considering buying to break it to fund some new parts for the old cabby. I thought it would break better but appears I'm totally wrong about it.
Thanks folks having seen it today it would start and drive very well when cold but after the test drive turned off the ignition and went to restart it after standing for a couple of minutes and it would not go at all.
It's a shame as other than that the car is in very good condition with a full history and even running good potenza tyres so quite a bit of money has been spent on its up keep.
Walked away from it as I wanted to do a bit more research on 2nd hand part prices and it does look like it would take a long time to get shot of the parts for decent money.

Definitely aint cheap motoring! High on insurance & tax and average mpg is about 22 at best. Great drivers cars, yeah but any engine trouble at all is a bad omen.
On the plus side, rotaries are supposedly cheap and easy to rebuild if you have the tools. My friend ran a prodrive PZ for a year and loved it - but a year tops as the running costs were massive for the performance.
