passenger door light switch

Just a quick question,are there two different door light switches as the one that is fitted to my 1990 325i convertible has two spade connectors , but all the ones on fleabay have one spade connector ,what the difference?.

UK models need a two prong switch. One switch is for the light and the other is for the relay that switches between the two supplies that allow the roof and windows to operate with the ignition off and a door open.
