fitted and wired up the hid's but on the right side they dont seem to be working so i tried the right side bulb on the left side and it worked so its not the bulb could it be something to do with my wiring loom can anyone help me with this ?

Have you tried the right hand ballast on the left side as well? That should tell you if it is indeed the wiring or the ballast itself.
