So we all like to read build threads and as much as i try to make my way through all of the 1000+ pages of the 'general chat' section of the forum, i find it hard to find restore and build threads.

Can anyone offer up any oppinoins as the the best (most extensive, most explanatory, most entertaining etc..) threads to study?

Or if my newbie ignorance has missed a part of the forum containing these, please direct me there.

Im all up for biased and non-biased views on the best threads.

Love the forum - i'm learning so much.

In no particular order and there are plenty more...

x-works... thorough.. and a friendly chap.. (still reading)
Gurrrrrmachine.... takes no prisoners..
beardymat... professional, a love of labour.. (was a while back, not sure if I finished)
Simon13.... doesn't hang about and funny (haven't finished)
capri_rob.... (both 'touring' and 'Bronzit') moves through the paces at speed.
skipunda.. refreshing
royalratch.. like he put some where in there 'moves at a glacial pace', likes things new and shiny and is enjoyable.
jozi... like several on here; anyone who puts their car on a spit is a winner in my eyes..
DanThe and Dezzy... both know how to build undercover weapons (haven't finished reading either)
Magpie... honest great progression of galvanised bestiary.. (still reading)

the list goes on

Not exactly a resto thread and its never been old and f*cked but its undergone a lot of work and upgrades along the way.

It will be on the receiving end of work again in the new year.

Very enjoyable read and informative!

The best one, though, was posted by a guy called "Tay". I don't think he's a member any more, but he the fella was a genius with a lot of invaluable advice to give... :D
