Failed today on:
Welding to be done on front and back of sills
ABS light on
Brake pipes corroded.

Had the ABS problem for a while and have been unable to fix it, I was on the hunt for an ABS ecu to try but didnt manage it in time.

They say £300 top inc VAT to fix it all so i've gone for it, but not sure the car is worth it. (325i moordoor with rusty arches)

Bit suspect to quote that price when they dont know whats wrong with the abs .Welding and brake pipes should be pretty straight forward.Just make sure they dont stitch you with extra cost after they gave you a quote

ABS is usually a robust system, I'd check if all your ABS wheel speed sensors are present and working first.

Yeah I tried that before the MOT and all seemed ok. The mechanic said that he'd plug the car in to a computer and see what the fault was. I thought these cars were too old for that though.
I need the car so i'll see what happens

I'm breaking a 325i Sport with fully working ABS, if you need any parts
