Just bought the misses a 318 i se for a run around. Its got a slight amount of hesitation on acceleration.
Anyone have any suggestions of what could be wrong.

Firstly, as with all modern turds you really want to get fault memory read to point you in the right direction but there are a few common M43 ailments.
Check the intake boot for any signs of air getting in and check the vacuum hoses near the inlet for the same.
MAF's can play up as can cam sensors and also the DISA flap in the inlet manifold.

I think the manifold DISA flap will turn out to be the cause. I bought it off and old lady who had been ferrying the husband to and from the post office for 8 years in it. I bet its all sludged up because its never been thrashed.
