Bulbs are fine from what I can gather, the left indicator starts flashing fast, then nothing. The hazards work fine with all bulbs flashing and the parking lights work fine.

I am baffled!

I'd check the bulbs personally, make sure there the correct wattage etc...

Check the glovebox light/switch is fitted and assembled properly, and has a bulb in it!

Brian, what glovebox light? I have looked but there is no light. I am guessing this is odd?

Yes, I wonder if two little wires, which connect to the bulb, are shorting on the metal bracket, blowing the fuse.

Has any one got any pictures of the glove box light? At least that way I can have a poke around where it should be located.

Thanks

Light and switch are the same unit (on RH drive cars). Bulb is directly above the button, and, if no bulb is fitted, the holder can occasionally short out.

Gentleman, you are legends in your own right.

I now have a working glove box light! However my fuse 4 problem still exists, I have now noticed that my left back indicator is no longer working, have changed the bulbs but no luck. Brake and reverse lights work fine?

What else should I be checking? :D

No other known faults with fuse 4 with standard wiring, BUT all the cowboy alarm and ICE fitters know that there is always a permanent live on a hazard switch, so tend to make a bee line for it.
Check for added wiring at the back of the switch.

Ok so I have checked for rogue alarm wires being connected to any switches (not that I know exactly what I am looking for) but I cannot see anything that looks out of place.

What are my options, an auto electrician?
