Got my knob out

of the car...made a template ( pictured below ) and am making my own gear boot to match the IS interior, if it goes well il make a handbrake one too. I shall post the results. Template looks promising, il test it for size on the frame tomorrow.

On a serious note. Cloth ... like your boxer stain. Stick with leather... or don't have a cover.

The stripped look is growing on me.... mainly because I don't want to put everything back in!

Did none of you read properly haha?? This is a trial template because im making a real one out of genuine 318is cloth from a spare seat james has and I didnt want to do the trial run on a rare fabric. The idea is the gaiter will match my interior....318is check

imo wont look right, gonna have the black console, a black gear knob, and grey check fabric in between, a nice new leather gaiter and gear knob look much nicer

Its just an experiment. I think it could look cool. I still have a nice leather gaiter incase it looks shite.

Hahah classic. Not got the material yet. This nd engine bay thread to be completed soon. Also polsta..i got myself some decks. Citronic cd s6s. Love em. Mixers a naff numark but I got a job so il upgrade it in a month or so.

haha i dont give a fuck how rough it is man, have you seen my car? I have no carpets, speaker wire running along the tunnel duct taped down, the over pedal panel is held up with a combination of zip ties and a wheel bolt.

I have 2 passenger sides I think. I didnt notice til i came to installing them. They work, the seatbelt is on the right side and theres 2 switches to recline the seats either side.
