looking to buy a set of coilovers but because i have fitted the m52, im wondering because my car was a 1.8 would that have an affect on the loweness due to having a heavier engine in now,

i still want it to be nice to ride , and not bump and bottoming out everywhere

Have you fitted 51mm struts with vented front discs and rear disc conversion?

Also what budget do you have for coilovers

No, 325, 318is, tourings and cabs came with 51mm

316,318 and 320 came with 45mm

Although I think 320s had 51mm struts if they had abs.

If you we're buying coilovers it wouldn't matter about inserts as they would come as a complete strut.

I wouldn't buy them.

Harsh ride, shit quality and will ruin the handling of your E30.

And I have driven an E30 with these on with an M50 in.

Personal experiance on prosport is shite ! . Ive done nearly 4000 miles front shock fooked 1 rear leaking . Handles like shoite compared to gaz and they dont even go that low ! .

There ok for tempary measures if ya broke . Im skint now n mines got to stay like it for a while now as i had to chop the front spring seats off to fit them so cant go back to standard total waste of money !
