Hi all
I'm a new member and I've just recently bought an
E30 318 is which good condition and has the e36 2.8 engine transplant. Need advice for a suspension upgrade many thanks

if its just for road use then you cant go wrong with the b12 kit from biltsein.
or if you really drive it hard then coilovers (not ebay shite) i have bc's on my m50 and they are nothing short of amazing.

youwant some 51mm front struts with vented discs and suited brake callipers also i'd be fitting some rear trailing arms with discs .

what you probably have now is the 318i 47mm struts with solid discs and rear drum brakes .the springs are probably standard 318i 4-pot ones ...

That and there's a chance you don't have a rear ARB either. I would check the state of the bushes. Also worth upgrading to e30 M3 eccentric lollipops and E46 cab rear topmounts.

Just realised you have an iS, in which case you'll be ok on the front struts, front and rear discs and ARB.
