Has what I assume to be a serial number on it as well, so unlikely. The tag on replacement diffs. was always written in a different format to that on factory fitted diffs. The first four numbers were the number of teeth on the crown wheel and the pinion, rather than the ratio. Dividing one pair of numbers by the other gave the ratio.
