Hello,
I have a 1985 Chromie. Is there anywhere that sells the black inserts or bump strips that fit onto the bumper. Thankyou for any help or advice.

Ah sweet,
Yeah I could really do with a whole set, the previous owner relied on them quite a bit by the looks of the scuffs. Let me know how you get on.
Cheers

The plastic trim from the dealers is actually pretty reasonable last I checked it was about £78 for the full 3 pieces for the front bumper. The rear is more expensive at about £150.

Problem with changing the three front plastic trim pieces on a chromie for brand new ones is that it makes the indicators look old, so you have to change those too.
But as has been said, finding good S/H sets is tricky. I'd be interested if you could get the indicator parts too.

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

It will be over £200 by the time you have replaced the end caps and fixing clips etcpolsta wrote:is he talking pre facelift ? £150 for that rear strip of rubber ???, £70/80 would be steep but swallowable, but 150
