after an "incident" with a curb, bening a wishbone, breaking a track rod end, and 2 bbs's i left my touring neglected at the back of my apartment building.
now 6 months on, i finally got my ass in gear and fixed it,
there's just one problem,
when you put it in gear, the drive shaft spins, makes a horrble knocking/tearing sound, and the car moves nowhere.
whats the problem here?
is it the drive shaft or maybe even the hub?
it did take a fair wack!

I'd be looking at both your driveshafts, sounds like you broken it on the hub.

there is power to the diff, and being an open diff, it's giving power to the side with least traction correct?

just checked real oem and drive shafts are NLA,

and here in slovakia the only place i can get parts is in the dealers (dont really speak the language.

grrmachine, would it be possible that i could buy a half shaft on allegro, have it sent to you and i send you money to ship it to me as most sellers on there wont ship to slovakia

yeah, if that's what you need to do, that's no problem. Although there is a Slovakian Allegro as well, isn't there?

Used ones are 105zl shipped to me, and then whatever it costs to get to you.

EDIT: just noticed, aukro.sk has f-all :D
