Basically pulled this engine out a donor myself thought it wouldbe simple enough but I have no idea what po has done!

Engine was installed as removed however mounts have been turned around so engine sits slightly towards the ns for clearance for the steering coupling the engine and ancillaries fitted perfectly in the donor car but wondering if anyone else has done the same tbiig a the engine is also on spacers it seems as if the engine is gonna touched the hood?

And the airbox etc seems a bit cramped,

It's just touching the foam on the hood managed to one man it on and close it peeped through kidney grille and it's touching slightly...

There's basically an e36 rack and e30 coupling so po has shimmied engine to the right and put 3 spacers on the mounts for clearance,

Think I might dip my hands in again! Might just go for the e46 rack! Will I need custom pipes only? Can I just use the original coupling?

Might have to lift the engine up remove the spacers block of wood and a jack on the sump?!

Why are you calling the bonnet a hood?

Not having a go, just interested. Are you from the USA?

Theres a chap on here that sells all the bits you need for a e46 rack conversion. Can't remember who though. Anyone?
