hello everyone, a friend reccomended i try this forum as im new to beemers!

normally a ford lad, xr3is, xr2's, xr4x4's but ive always wanted an e30 beemer.

i just picked this up yesterday about 200 miles from where i live.

its only a 1.8i and tbh its slow! haha i didnt want something too tail happy to start with when its coming up to winter.

the bodywork has been really well kept, the only thing that lets it down is one of the previous owners fitted toyota celica bucket seats :? but lucky enough ive picked up a full grey cloth e30 interior on ebay for £12 haha :D

heres the pics

Smart ride :D Get those shite wheels off and something reasonably sized instead, and you'll make a really enjoyable motor of it.

Previous owner's obviously focused on cosmetic things (that chrome window lining isn't original to the car) but she certainly looks tidy enough.

haha £12 for a set of seats, bargain of the century that.

looks sweet, odd/unique colour that but works well with the black rims

whats the plan for the car...

tbh i dont know where to start with it really mate. its already got shorter shocks & springs with front and rear strut braces.

is it worth doing anything to the engine, think these are only 115bhp i think. im after an exhaust if anyone is selling one. something to give it a bit noise, wayy too quiet lol

318i(M40 engine) arent usually quiet, most came from the factory with the noisy camshaft option box ticked :D
Bot really much you can do with these to increase performance other than a good service to get it running at its best.
Engine upgrade to say an M42 engine(16 valve) is pretty simple weekend DIY job and would probably work out cheaper(and more effective) than trying to squeeze power from yours.

Yeah that is mucka88's old car, he had the 51mm front struts and a full set of 60mm springs off me a couple of months ago.

Welcome 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I'd say it was original. Part of the real povo spec with the non body coloured bumpers.

Yup, dechrome was an option. Apart from Sports, iS's, and I think SE's where it was standard and then tourings only came with dechrome.

Only the very late SE's were shadowline mate, BSS will confirm

Cool colour I like that, some nice BBS would look great, not a big fan of the wheels myself. :)
