after 2 months of waiting for the right car to come up for sale near me i have just bought mysel a cracking e dirty six

it's had the block recall done with proof in the service history below .

98k miles with full service history up to 85k then updated with other garages to 95k miles and fitted to slush box so this will no doubt be a rice pudding skin puller when mated to the 318is box i bought from zaust earlier ready for when i got a donor car which i wanted to be a low mileage auto for obvious reasons ..
i'll be using all the parts i can from the m50 conversion so this shouldn't be to painful on the deep tank lol.
driving around in this auto executive chariot was fun while it lasted but all good things must come to an end sometime

mot day tomorrow 10.30am so i've been checking it over and finally sorted the h/brake out and swapped out the new standard rear discs for as new Black Diamond drilled and grooved efforts
got some for the front but not fitted them yet .

well all went well until i tilted the drivers seat forward and it wouldn't lock back into position..FFS, so i've been running around swapping seats with the 323i while my tea went cold
then i had to swap the friggin seat belt clasp
so glad i checked that mofo !
what happened to spring !!

well an honest opinion between m50 with cams and m52 with inlet would be good
. im sure Dan will turn up with his opinion soon.
I have been wanting to switch over to m52 for a while tho .somehow it does make sense lol but for the abuse it will get and possibly get quite hot on the track drifting may sway me to keep m50

well after running around trying to get a seat sorted out for the mot yesterday i came downstairs this morning and my leather seat has locked into position
and i now have a nasty dogtooth blue comfort seat in my car with one of those very fluffy 80's style seat covers on in grey
.
no excuses not to crack on with the leather feed/conditioner i've had sitting here since end of the summer last year .

Nice work Mick
Can you tax the car for a start date in April in March?
I'm hoping to tax the sport at the end of the month pending the mot. How do you tackle the taxing issue?

it never ends does it
