Let my just start off by saying i know bugger all about ICE, i once somehow managed to fit a stereo to a renault and somehow it worked. Ive had a look at the back of my old cassette deck, which i want to get rid of, in my pre facelift 325 and i assume you need an iso adaptor of some sort to attach a cd player. Can anyone do me a massive favour and point me in the direction of a suitable adaptor, please not from halfords, i don't want to get completely mugged. Thanks in advance, Theo.

lol i bought a cd player from halfords yesterday for the same price as it was on caraudiosecurity lol

the iso adapter i used was one i had lying around; i took one look at the old one an thought fuck that it. it was greenish looks like it had got wet an not sure if it was compatible. strictly speaking you dont need an iso block anyway but it makes things a dam site lot easier

the last iso block i bought from hellfruads was only 2.99 n e way!

What unit? dunno, just want a black one!! Ive only got the old skool speakers at the back which barely work!, going to replace them, but i dont want to cut the rear shelf, just some newer speakers that would fit straight in. Sorry to sound so ignorant here!

iv got some pioneer 6x9 for sale, mounted on some wooden blocks so you dont have to butcher your shelf! its what i used in my old is; the previous owner of my new IS has actually butchered the chassis underneath!! 8O nevertheless there no good to me so if you want em PM me

also got soem alpine crossovers and 13cm components if u wont em!

regarding head units, i bought a pioneer deh 6700 ma? i think. got 50x4 watts, fli[ down screen remote, but the best bit is you can change the colour of the display - i went all orange an it matches the rest of the car now lol how anal am i!

one bit of advice i will give you is, dont buy sony!!
