m52 conversion servo

hi i no i have to have a Renault Clio brake servo for my m52 conversion can anyone tell me what year do i need or can i use anyone aslong as it has plastic wings....thanks

Pretty sure they are all much the same on the clio. I remember a few different ones being used successfully.

I didn't do much research into it and just pulled one at the scrappy and it fitted no problem.

Anything around 2000-2001 I believe, anything from that shape Clio should be fine I believe.

Im thinking of doin the conversion in the near future and i've just broken a m reg clio rsi 16v. Do these have the same servo required?

2000 onwards clios are what you need to rape

nightmare to get too, the brakers i went to had to take the engine out to get the servo out

Is a spacer needed on these servo's? Mine is right on top of one of the brake lines.

Took me about 40 minutes at the yard to get the servo out, I'm sure others could do it quicker. Strange why they would take the engine out for a £25 item.

Thats what i paid aswell!
when they showed me where the servo was looked like that was the only way to get it out

There is an inspection cover in the driver side inner wing that you can get to it, but I've never fancied that way myself. I've only ever raped these from breakers that have either had the engine or at least the head removed.

I think I've paid £5 any time I've put one of them over the counter.

You unbolt the pedal box from inside and pull the servo out that way,20 min job

wow what a shocker! the servo comes out on the pedal side of the car it takes 10 minutes!
