Got a new bearing on a prop gave it to my mate who basically picked it dropped it off n done it for free,

I whacked it on without realising just about to attach to the gbox and I realise it's 2-3cm apart from the White dots

And I can't get the collar loose for shit!

Will it be okay or do I need to line it, I read it vi rates if it's 180Ӣ out so will it make a difference?

You need it in line.
The yolks at each end of the prop, where the UJs live, need to be correctly aligned relative to each other.
Schadenfreude - the German's haven't got a word for that.
