How about a quick 15 min fix? Black shoe polish (good for leather) carefully applied, followed by dubbin (very good for leather). I was very surprised how my tech 1 wheel came up.

I just had this M3 wheel retrimmed from Bespoke, it was an Evo wheel with Alcantara, but that was knoackered.
Not 100%, but i had 1mm neopreme added to make the wheel thicker so feels better to grip

On a similar vein, does anyone know a trimmer for Leather Sports seats? Most seem to have either bolster seat cover problems, so would be good to know.
Maybe it's the same guys?

AS Pickering in Bradford are fantastic. He's fitted a new window in the Boxster, retrimmed me a quattro sport interior and has made good my tired carpet in the 968CS.batleyrhino wrote:On a similar vein, does anyone know a trimmer for Leather Sports seats? Cool, thanks mate, I'll look them up. Not far from home either, although I used to work in Bradford so I know what to expect...Falkster wrote:AS Pickering in Bradford are fantastic. So they fix the leathers with the car running then....Falkster wrote:It couldn't get much worse as its on manningham lane.batleyrhino wrote:Cool, thanks mate, I'll look them up. Royal steering wheels did a fantastic job on my tech 2 I got new Dakota leather on the wheel and centre piece then m coloured stitching like on the m3 e46. It looks like new and cost about 120 including postage

Anyone had a full leather interior done, and got a clue about pricing? I'm thinking that it would be a very worthwhile investment on a tired interior if the rest of the car is in good shape.

Cheers mate, just trying to make sure the budget is right for me. Presumably that's for seats and doesn't include recovering door cards for example?

You're looking at about £1500 for a full retrim in a decent grade of leather.threelander wrote:hi duncan i will get you the phone number for the guys in wakey tomoz mate.they are good .i would say £800 to £900 for full refurbish.trust me the guys are good and nice to chat to.
