no way id put carbon fibre looking shite in my car
there was a thread on these a while back on here, with info about them, i dont think they work anymore due to being gsm and not digital, although might just need some messing about with an expertise to get it working, or changing the internals ?
but what would you do... just get a pay/g sim card for it ? no one would ever call you theyd just call your mobile

It would look banging! Bolt it in!! lol
I think it works off a sim card.
Well you would only need to divert calls from your mobile to the car phone mobile number?

I got my from German ebay together with the Bavaria Business radio.
Even though it's not very practical because of the poor reception and calls having
to be diverted but it's GREAT.
It's much better than some flashy cd player and an iphone holder, which I had previosly...

All You need is phone kit taken out of e36 because the phone handset will fit neatly on to the centre console.
My consisted of the handset, module in which you put 2g sim card a wire connecting the two as well as two Nokia speakers and a microphone.
And an aerial.
With regards to fiting the whole set you need to connect everything together an find the power cable which leads to the battery.
Simple.

If you're thinking about getting one in the UK it might be worth remembering that they are illegal to use whilst driving so you might as well use your mobile! But as a retro gimic, its right up there in terms of 80's/90's bling

Got the sim card on eBay earlier this year. It was £5 delivered unused.
The phone is legal because as you saw on the video it has laud speaker function.
You can also talk on the "wire" when the car is stationary (for legal reasons)
The only downside is poor reception.

You can still get 2G sim cards, stuff like mobile debit card machines use 2G so readily available.
