Just considering a swap to AlphaN and carbonfibre airbox. Has anyone made a box specifically for converted e30's?

There are some in Germany mark but they are big big money from what I recall.
You could change the master cylinder to a smaller one as it has the 22mm vw one but could compromise some breaking.

Some nice boxes on that link but nothing specific for an e30 with s50 fitted.

. I got one off John @ s14 power and if fits perfect with loads of space between it and the inner arch, you will need to get smaller servo and master cylinder thoajay wrote:Some nice boxes on that link but nothing specific for an e30 with s50 fitted.

John quoted me 1500 euro for an s54,which is a fair price, for an aftermarket carbon intake, but was not clear on it being specifically modded to drop straight into an e30 with s54 lump. I replied positivley but asked for confimation it was modded for an e30 as im not paying 1500 euro and taking a saw to it to make it fit. No reply as of yet and no pic,s of one in an e30.

Shame as I'd get one if I knew it would fit, or even if it just had dimension so I could check...

one thing i will say is its tight enough to the rad so no chance of putting a filter direct to the end of it

If I find a spare 1400 yoyos, I'll be able to test fit an S54 one in an E30 and E36 soon.
