On a 316, is the only pump the lift pump on the cylinder head? No electric pump.
Mines been sat with the fuel pipes off for about 6 weeks and I'm struggling to get any fuel up to the carb.
Do I just keep cranking or am I going to have to do a tow start on it, like a diesel pump?

There is only the mechanical pump on the side of the head.
Make sure there are no air leaks in the fuel lines.

Yeah that was my guess. Might try sticking a gallon in the tank, it's pretty low
