I've just fitted my Gaz GHA coilovers and I have a couple of issues.
I'm hoping someone that else that has fitted them can shed some light for me.
1- There is a very slight rubbing noise from the rear which I think is the springs rubbing inside the turret, because they did seem VERY close......this isn't much of a problem as it seems to be getting less and less the more I drive it.
2- When I accelerate hard in 1st, 2nd or 3rd there is a loudish knock from the rear.
I did also fit uprated rose jointed rear top mounts and RPM strut braces.
Any advice is much appreciated

Do you have offset rear top mounts?

I trial fitted gaz rear coilovers using there offset top mounts and found that the clearance while jacked up was ok but once on the ground it dissapeared and the rear wheel/tyre was in contact with the spring. But i was using 17" 9j (5 stud) e36 wheels. Check the clearance of tyre/wheel with your spring and that you have the offset mount inwards towards the boot.

I managed to get a look under the car tonight and yes the springs are definitely rubbing against the inner wings.
My top mounts aren't offset, so is there any way around that?
And I think the knocking noise might be coming from the rear subframe bushes as they appear to be shot bits, looks like I'll be getting some poly bushes then
Thanks for the advice

the coilovers come with the bottom spacers handed too. Make sure that you have them the right way.....ie:smallest one to the lower arm ......this might move them away enough .....if not then you need the offset top mounts
this one has the offset top mount and is still close !!

Yeah I did trial fit them with the bottom offset both ways to see which way gave me the best clearence. I ended up fitting them the same as yours.

. This pic is not perfect but you may just see the two fixing bolts for the top mounts are offset, when fitted creating the clearance.-

The problem is with the diameter of the spring, you would certainly need to get rid of the expansion tank pipes on the off side arch.

So could I just slot the holes in my current top mounts?
Or maybe take a hammer to the inner arches?
