eibach spring how to know it has been cut or not

hello,

I just got used eibach spring from 318is, it is for 4 pots, how to know it has been cut or still original? I'm curious as at the end of the spring there is a straight cut.

I have take measure it 27 centimeters from top to bottom

I have attach the pictures, I hope can get help from forum.

If I remember, I'll measure mine that are off the car and think have the same part number on them and get back to you on their length...

Measured mine. They went to 28cm... Although the cuts look to be exactly the same as yours.

If you look at either end, the cuts at in line with each other... If they had been cut, then they would be around 4-5cm difference to mine for the ends to line up so I think its safe to say yours are not cut

thank you for info.
i got the both cut has same finish black metalic/grey powder coating, i think it is not cutting, like you said.

but if i see at eibach catalog said it is 29 centimeters, but my i think because it is new?? not seat yet?

how is different in handling between stock and eibach?

Not sure to be honest on handling as im in the process of fitting them... Currently its 'Slammed' so trying to raise it up some.

Someone else might be able to comment on handling though as a few people have them fitted.

do you buy it new? or used?
