My Speedo has stopped working today and by searching on here it seems I may have disrupted something when fitting a Stereo.
I've checked all the fuses and traced the feed for the cluster but all seems fine and now I have just taken the cluster out took it apart but cant seem to see anything wrong with it.
My question is what could I have done if the wire has shorted or something? and now where do I go from here, do I replace the cluster or sensor on the dif?

The diff sensors are rarely at fault, but the wire to the sensor can break down internally. Replacing the last 30cm of this wire is the usual remedy.

As you have found, there can also be issues when working around/with the stereo unit, so this could also be your problem. Hopefully Brianmoooore (the zone expert on such things) will see this and be able to offer his help :)

Check fuses 10, 12 and 21 (all 7.5A). Swap them over with other 7.5A fuses in the box.
