i've just bought a rather rotten chromie and looking through the service history i found this.

an old couple have owned this for the past 10 yrs and it's been looked after by the garage that sold it to them AUTOBAHN in Hexham .

the elderly couple that owned this sadly won't be driving it again or any car for that matter.Somehow the garage got it back and sold it for spares . the engine has only covered 101k miles

Check BMW build sheet. should say 325A = Automatic

Probably just refers to a pre-facelift, chromey.

My fathers car which is here now in ireland was serviced with autobahn and they done thousands of pounds worth of work to the car!

it's my second car with Autobahn stickers in the window and reg plates ,the other was a calypso red 2 dr that will live on in the form of a pick-up sometime next year :mad:

yes Ferg i'll be putting a thread up tomorrow ,the whole car is for spares . the engine is superb and the switchable auto box works as it should .it's quite quick actually :D

i actually have the ex owners disabled badge/permit with photo id but i wont post it, it's not right.

it was inside the minty fresh white bmw folder that was tucked in the glove box ,even the owners handbook is black and grey on the cover,no shiny red bmw's here :D
