I noticed they are e30 rings... or are they? It's been that long since I've been in mine.

The steering wheel and fuel gauge pegged on empty go hand in hand with the bruvved up gauges.
Like chrome arches for your instruments, it is not a good look !

I once bought a turd with chrome speedo rings.. they had come loose and rolled around inside the cluster when cornering

They look trash. The e30 is at the stage that it should be kept completely standard. Adding tat like this will not impress anyone.
The same goes for...
Black headlights, german style plates, 17 inch plus wheels, btb/scorpion zorsts, coilovers, pointless engine conversions.

I did this mod on my E36 325i. Quite liked it tbh, 'lightened' the instrument cluster. Would I do it on the E30 now? No.
