bbs look good. Unless I'm mistaken your alpina reps are 17s.

The gold will look good with your blue cab I reckons. Those reps look a touch too big.. but thats just one mans taste over another.. Do what ever tickles you right.. :D

The alpina reps are 18" with a 215 35 18 so you feel every bump on the road so during the winter going to use the 15" wheels

You need some of these for those Scottish winters...

Reminds me what happened to the white cab that was built onto a RR/LR chassis - is it still around?

There was a video floating around the other day, can't remember what thread it was in though.

The bbs will still be rubbish for driving in snow with those wide tyres on. I found 14" steels with 175 70 14 tyres were best for winter.

Indeed. I fitted a set of 175/70/14 Goodyear Ultragrip 8s to some 14" bottletops last year and they were superb in the cold, rain and ice. Very quiet too. Didn't get to drive them in snow though - when we had some snow in January/February I was on holiday in Jamaica and the E30 was sleeping in Gatwick's car park!
