Looks like a decent step into stand alone - this seems like a straightforward solution, perhaps better than something like the miller maf + war chip.

ello, been up to other stuff recently ;)
I quite like the idea of this due to easy of installation, ie drop the AFM, add the map sensor, switch the TPS out, add a wide band and then try to figure the software elements out - if the text its to be believe it should be relatively straightforward.
I ran into the link for this while looking at the miller solution - which is too closed for my tastes.

I have a turbo E30 and a 2.8L stroker E30 both running off of this kit. It's simple to build, the first one I built I did it in a weekend. The second one I built only took me 4-5 hours. They also have base maps available on the website for a stock 325 and a turbo 325 to get you up and running.
