i take it your looking at bbs rms?? if so, they have a unique'ish style centre cap and turn the wheel around and see if they are propa bolts holding the split rim together.
My image wheels have bolts holding them together but my calibre vintage don't nor do my brothers dare rs

Even 'real' E30 BBS wheels aren't all made by BBS. 'BBS' wheels were supplied to BMW by other manufacturers as well. Like many parts, there is more than one OE supplier.

I went by what rich318saidplus a bit of savvy asi didnt expect the guy to say go to his workshop there and then ,thanks:)
There standard oem 15" i looked on centre they say bmw and 15x7 .
I think they were cheap ,the guy only had 3 as he sold 1 i payed £60 with 2 buggered tyres and 1 just legal .no caps but slight kerbing .
I also managed to get 2 basically new 195/50 tyres for £10 off a pal

i think bmw had them made by BBS, FPS and i think ALU...as long as it has one of these 3 manufacturers stamps on, then they should be genuine..Brianmoooore wrote:Even 'real' E30 BBS wheels aren't all made by BBS. two of mine are made by Lemmers, and two by what lookes like Alu - the script isn't clear.
They are however all stamped 'BMW', which I would take as being an genuine OEM part.

Schadenfreude - the German's haven't got a word for that.
