Squeezing steering

thre possibilities I can think of.
1. Loose belt, would be most prominent when close to or on full lock
2. Knackered Pump
3. Dry bearing in the steering column, i think there is an article in the wiki that covers where to drill a small hole in the column so you can grease the bearing
4. Dried out grease on brass ring at the the back of the steering wheel where it connects to the carbon brush for the horn.
