also what are component speakers? and are they better than ( i donԚ´t know really)
Component Speakers?

Compo speakers are a lot better than 'coaxial' speakers. They have a separate tweeter, so you can place it better (directed to your ears rather than your legs or smth). Compo speakers also have an external filter so they separate the sound better between tweeter and woofer.
So all in all compo speakers are the only way to go if you're after decent sound quality. But to get the best out of them you should also connect them to a separate amplifier. It doesn't immediately have to be a huge one, but let's say 40-50 Watt RMS per channel. I don't know if compo's are really worth the extra money if you just connect them directly to your head unit though (maybe someone else can fill me in here).
As for Clarion speakers, I don't hear much about them. They are not top-of-the-line but I think they are ok. I can recommend the Infinity compo sets, they sound really good. But I don't know in what price range you're looking...

I've hooked up my component speakers to my head unit... works jes fine!
Whether you hook them up to a separate amplifier or not is totally dependent on how loud you want everything to play.
Typically, I've installed tweeters on a 50w amp... loud as hell with the right tweets... and hooked up the mid range speakers on anywhere from 100w to 250w.
Prob is... the louder you make the mids, the louder you have to make the Sub Woofer.
At the moment I have an Alpine 250w Sub amp and Alpine sub woofer (which are actually my wife's but I stole them off her after totalling her car!!! DIE NISSAN DIE!!!!!) the bog standard BMW speakers hooked up to a 40w Sony head unit (4 speakers) two of the speakers go thru a JBL component system crossover ( the filter bit) and also connect to two JBL Tweeters which came as part of the compo system.
It's quite loud in the car and provides excellent quality... clean and clear.
Lots more little tricks to make it all come together... like reversing the polarity of the two front speakers.... but that'd be getting a little pedantic.
But it wirks.
