Motorsport door handles

This is an odd question but would my door handles have been black from the factory or should they be body coloured?

Also, when the rear lights were updated from the narrow ones to the wider ones, did anything else change at the same time, and is it possible to fit the later lights to an earlier car?

The rear panel is different between cars with facelift lights and non facelift, so no, without some major surgery, it's not possible to swop and change.

I've never known any E30's to leave the factory with body coloured door handles.

Thanks simon, I would never want to change the rear lights as I love it how it is and in many ways I think the narrower lights look better...also my Motorsport is staying standard!! Thanks for the info about the handles, reassures me, I had wondered having seen some people with colour coded handles!
