Just done a search and cant find the answer so if anyone knows please step forward

I want the mirror lights to work when opening the door and need to know which wire on the interior light to connect it to.Think there are 3 in total but can only be one of them!
I know it can be connected to Green/Blue wire at sunroof switch but just want to be different winkeye

Help please!

Need to connect to two of them - the red/green for 12V supply, and the brown/purple for switching.
If you can find a suitably sized eyelet ( the type you use with special eyelet pliers ), then you can solder a wire to it, and fit it into the interior light at the end of the bulb that the two switch levers are, and use this wire instead of rhe brown purple. You can then have your map lights door switched or permanentely on with the interior light.

Never actually seen a maplight mirror. ( I fix an extra light in the sunroof motor access panel ), so I don't really know. Doubt if it makes any difference.
Neither grey or black are colours BMW use for earth switching lines (usually brown + a tracer), or supply lines (usually red, green, white or purple with or without a tracer).
